I just started blogging.
A couple of weeks ago I discovered blogs. Okay, I live in a cave.
After looking around a bit I decided to open an account and start a blog.
I'm exploring. I want to see what's out there and learn about places and people.
At first it was kind of a bummer. Some blogs were just empty, a couple were just tirades.
But then I hit on a streak of cool blogs. It seems like a bunch of them were from Kuwait and other places in the Middle East. One was from Russia. It was too cool.
It's neat how so many people from so many different places have the same thoughts about stuff. If you read my first post which is just the lyrics to a song I heard and liked, the questions in that song are kind of the ones I wanted to try to answer. And I did.
For those of you that I visited and who are now going to come here I want to compliment you on how good your English is. I think it is not your native language for many of you, although now I wonder :) but you really "speak" English better than I do, and I'm an American. Great!
I'm jealous. I know a little bit of Spanish (it's kind of a necessity). Some of the blogs had posts in Arabic. Now I want to learn Arabic. I'll be looking in the stores this weekend for language materials.
Thanks for having me as your guest, and if you're reading this, thanks for being mine.
I love living in the desert. I think the desert is such a cool place, even when it's really hot. But blogsurfing has just made my desert a whole lot cooler. Please leave a note and let me know you've been here and what you think.
By the way, here's a picture of my girlfriend. (Use a little imagination; it's not obscene!)

We just broke up, and I'm actually kind of happy!

southwest? hmmmm,, AZ?
nice blog by the way.
Isnt it wonderful that people are connecting and learning about different cultures through blogs?
I might be a blog addict, but we're still debating that :)
(I'm gonna download the song from your last post, I like the words)
first of all, i would like to say welcome to the blogging world, i'm glad to hear that you are liking it, but it does get addictive hehe..
tv and internet killed my imagination, you wanna explain to me what this is <8)BC=
Welcome to the Blogosphere
English is our second language i guess.. and OMG, Here ..its becoming the first ..
We're abandoning our language for English.
which is really sad
people who don't know English are mostly considered as retards.
My grandparents at the age of 70 and 80 are actually interested and learning.. *Sigh*
Btw .. no matter how hot is ur desert , it can never be hotter than the weather here in Kuwait ;P
SP, that's where I live now but I get to travel some to :)
Zed thanks. Looking from left to right is looking from top to bottom first theres like this hair bunched up on top, then these big eyes then a smile and then use your imagination some... ;)
Thanks Fayoora it's wierd how that works out everyone there learns english and I feel like I gotta learn spanish but it's cool. It's like maybe if more people learned more languages we wouldnt have the problems we have in the world.
Anyway thanks for visiting I'm going for a cruise in the desert for a while and I need to hurry before the place fills up ;)
reeeally? what do you do in AZ? I go to ASU, been living here in Tempe for the past 3 years :)
Hey, welcome again! I added ur link 2 my blog & I'll just ignore the sentence about never having heard of blogs before ;)
It's so cool that you're exploring worldwide blogs! I'm trying to do that too-- it's the best way to understand what's going on around the world
BTW it's scary how English is taking over us! I just read a report yesterday that 50 indigenous languages face the threat of extinction this year!
what i wouldn't give to jump off a rock in the desert when i'm bored, own a pet tarantula so i dont have to feel fugly about how much fuzz i got on my back, live off cheap tequila in a camper and have pitbull fights as a source of entertainment.. aaaaah that is the life
